DUI Notice of Revocation
After you have been arrested for DUI in Oklahoma, the arresting officer will ask if you consent to having a sample of your blood or breath tested to determine your blood alcohol content, or BAC. A refusal is a violation of Oklahoma’s implied consent statute and will result in a suspension of your license.
Officer’s Affidavit and Notice of Revocation/Disqualification
The officer will fill out a form called the Officer’s Affidavit and Notice of Revocation/Disqualification. This document is the record of your refusal and will also include the officer’s notes on your behavior and anything you said at the time of your refusal and arrest.
The Officer’s Affidavit and Notice of Revocation/Disqualification is also the official warning that your license will be revoked for at least 180 days on the 30th day after your arrest.
30 Days to Save Your License
Although your suspension will not begin for 30 days, you only have 30 days to save your drivers license. If you do not act quickly, your license will be suspended.
