“I got a good deal.“ I’ve had clients who’ve come in and tell me they took a deal on a prior case and it was a good deal. It may be. But I would caution you that before you take a deal, that you should analyze and determine, is it a good deal for you? Or just a good deal for the attorney to get you finished and out of there.
Ask the attorney. Have him explain the pluses and the minuses and how it’s going effect your life. Not only right now but a year, two years, three years down the road. What will be the implications and how will you be changed and your life affected by it. Then you can determine if it’s a good deal for you.
