Loose Gravel Scenario In Oklahoma

Attorney Melanie Lander: This report says he crosses that lane line three times. I didn’t see it.

Attorney Bruce Edge: I don’t see it either. Let’s look at it again.

Attorney Jason Edge: No, he doesn’t. His left front tire touches the line maybe one time, but he never crosses it once, much less three times, and that’s not against the law.

Bruce: Not at all.

Melanie: And we have a motion on that. I’ll get that filed.

Bruce: Get it done.

Jason: Let’s go ahead and fast forward to the field sobriety tests and see what those look like.

Bruce: Great. Wait a minute, this – that doesn’t look level. Does the police report say anything about the surface?

Melanie: No, says nothing about the surface. The officer only talks about him stumbling.

Bruce: Of course not. What about our investigator? Has she been out?

Attorney Stephen Edge: She said it’s a seventeen-degree angle with loose gravel.

Jason: Seventeen-degree angle on loose gravel? You can’t get a fair test on that.

Stephen: Who said anything about it being a fair test?

Jason: We will.

Bruce: Damn right we will.
