Who protects us from the police? A 70-year-old woman, with no criminal history, a seminary graduate, with late-in-life mental health issues is having an episode when she meets the people who are sworn to protect her. Tulsa Police are laughing and escalate the situation by cruelly taunting her; even to laugh and say “I love my job.” Apparently, the officer feels her job is to torture people. Then, they slam her to the ground and bust her face.
Many outstanding men and women are in law enforcement, but those in this video are not among them. Good officers must police themselves and protect us from those who fail to honor the uniform.
This officer filed at best, a misleading report. Remember this if you are on a jury. Look at how her report is different from what you see actually happening.
As expected, nothing has happened to the officer. Look at what happened and imagine the people not having a uniform on—what should happen to them? Why should officers be allowed to create conflict and assault people without repercussions? Look at how much pleasure this person derives from torturing someone and ask yourself “is this the mentality/attitude I want from someone who is carrying a gun?”
